Thanks for the comparison shots, the short Kaiser looks as if it is the ticket for me.

The girth of the Goliath takes a little getting used to and is noticeably heavier. The Kaiser is equivalent in diameter (and closer in weight) to the average handle. That said, the Goliath, with it's extra width and weight, has become my preference.

The upper machined rings on the brass Goliath is a great little touch too Ben, gorgeous.
