What's new

Omega Boar Pro

I just got a new one too. The smell is absolutely horrid. I have begun Prorasoing it out and after 5 days it is finally starting to abate. When I first smelled it I thought that some disgruntled employee at the Omega factory had flung a rotting chunk of roadkill into the mix. Quite a stench.:scared:

Besides the stench , i ran it through a couple of creams and soaps and man does this thing lather like a dream, can't wait for the morning shave.

That it does, it took me 2 weeks of shaving plush a couple shampooing/conditioning rinses.

However it lathers like a dream, a cheap one too!

I just got mine yesterday. It does smell, and you are right it sure can lather. while playing around I even got the Irishsprings to lather up nice! The brush is a nice size too. I think if you can get past the smell this thing is a great buy.

What is it they use on folks who have been sprayed by a skunk? Tomato juice and something LOL.

I got one recently from WCS and it arrived smelling like moth balls - I haven't smelled that in decades. Once that smell was gone, the animal scent was very noticeable. For me, it made great lather from tallow soaps and creams, but I was not impressed with the hard glycerine - Col Conks. I was disappointed in the quality. I have an Omega Stripy that I like much better. But, I'll keep going with this boar brush.
