Old Style Barbershop

Greetings fellow Montrealers

Are there any old school barbershops in Montreal? I'm currently looking for a new barbershop. I would prefer a barbershop that has a 50's and 60's look with that offer Wet Shaving

I'm not a Montrealite, but would guess there are a few old school shops still left!

Sadly, I live in Seattle where I don’t have access to an ‘old school‘ barbershop. The best I can do is the bottle of Pinaud clubman that I used to finish my shave this AM!!

Hi,

I have one in Lillington, NC. Still has four chairs, although only the owner works there these days, and only on Fridays. It's most decidedly a Way Back Machine trip as you walk down the stairs and through the door.

There are a lot of Indians from Sri Lanka in Montreal and in those areas there will be plenty of barbershops that still do things the old way. it has been a long time since I've been there but but there will for sure be plenty of barbershops. And those guys give a good haircut. It won't be like one of these little prissy styling salons for men. It will be an actual barbershop with hot face towels, and leather that they have to whip up in a bowl and straight razors and etc..
