Old Spice scent - A/S or Deodorant?

Growing up in Northeast USA, and even now – A/S splashes were never widely used among my friends and family due to the cold weather most of year. I think for that reason, the Old Spice scent reminds me of deodorant, and not A/S. This probably has to do with my age as well.

Just wondering if, on my Old Spice A/S days, does everyone around me think I’m just covered in deodorant?

Unless they say something to you about it, I wouldn't worry about it. Old Spice smells good, whether it comes from deodorant or aftershave.

I recently went back to original OS deodorant for a while and also use the Ivy Club version of Old Spice. I found the two to be much different in scent. However, everyone has a different scent "palate", if you will.

I don't think that the Old Spice deodorant is close enough to the aftershave or cologne, to be honest.

Big Jay, by original do you mean an old Shulton stick? I don't know what those smell like, but the new deodorants aren't much like the new P&G formula to me. I smell the resemblance, though.
