Ok I'm Confused With the: Lab, Blue, Personna thing . I think

Hi Guys,

I keep reading that "Lab Blue Personna" blades are nearly as good as the Medical Personna, but are only half the price. Wow great sign me up I'll try a 100 ..... But there seems to be so many different names for this one blade:

Labs ?
Blue Lab ?
Personna Lab ?
Personna Blue ?
Maybe it's just me and I'm getting senile, which is a definite possibility. Could some kind soul help out this poor old cogger and post a couple of pics of the box and the blade wrapper for a "Lab Blue Personna"
Thanks Chaps

Ok - my wife said "Google you silly old ........" Anyway I think I've answered my own question and these are the blades ??

Yes...I call this Personnas of the Mysteries. I'm not sure where the "Lab" comes from, Blue is obviously the box. I think the five packs are "Barber" grade. But the 100 box is Blue Labs. As to how they rate compared to the Med Preps...that is part of the mystery. You can find many threads and many answers. I own 100 Blue Labs, but shave with Med Preps. Is it some evil plot? :a51:

So which do you like better? From your post I gather the meds?

Ok just so I've got this crystal clear (I'm not the sharpest shave on the block), are these the
Med Preps: ?

As a side note, lab supply companies, such as EMS sell many blades - including the Personna blades - that are used in laboratories. Hence, the Personnas they sell were called Personna Labs.

No no, these are RED IP's! English is my third language, sorry for the confusion!

That's my understanding too. The blue paper covered white dispenser are the euro-pack Israeli reds. The NA pack are the red package. But they're all the same blade, or at least that's what I thought.

Neither of these is the Blue pack blades we call Labs. The Labs are USA made. These are not in a dispenser but rather a bulk box.

The observation that they're not helping (pre) senile brains keep track is appropriate.
