Oddball shavette

So I picked-up this somewhat odd shavette. I wasn't able to find anything doing an online search. Does anybody know anything about these?

I've never seen or heard of this one, but have you used it? And how does it shave?

I haven't used it, but I did put a blade in it. Splitting the blade isn't necessary because the whole thing fits inside without the top touching. I may give it a try.
