October's Breast Cancer Auction- HOW TO HELP- Donations

In Memory of our Sue Moore

October is only a few weeks away which means our annual Badger and Blade auction to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation is coming. B&B has raised over $25,000 for Cancer-related Charities from past fund raisers and auctions through monetary donations as well as product donations from both our Vendors and our Membership. To view last year’s auction threads check out the Wiki.

In an effort to keep items organized, if any members would like to donate any products please send a PM to Jim or BrianW and also CC Dave258 or AABCDS. Donations are not expected but they are welcome. You will be responsible for shipping the item you are donating to the winning bidder.

If you would like to donate something to be auctioned off, here is what we need in the PM:

· Item description as you wish it to appear in the auction
· Hosted photos links of Item(s) ( if you need help with this please feel free to contact a Mod or Steward)
· Contact email address for the Team to contact you with confirmation of payment received and shipping details for the winners

Thanks in advance for donations, let’s make this auction as successful as last year’s!
The Auction will be held on October 19, 2012

Wow! B&B has done some great work for charity :w00t:
But there is still lots we can do.
Let's make our 2012 Breast Cancer Auction the best one yet.

Wait until you guys see some of the stuff on deck for this year! And for a great cause! Unfortunately, everyone knows someone who has battled some form of Cancer... Lets do our part to help fight the battle!

To battle Stage 3A breast cancer this year, my wife had her uterus, tubes, ovaries, breasts and lymph nodes removed, plus 4 months of chemo. She's doing great, with no evidence of cancer.

I'm in. Bid high, bid often please, gentlemen. Breast cancers are nasty.

It's great to hear your wife is doing well. Research, treatments and the patients deserve all of the support we can give them.

This is a noble act that deserves the highest attention. Thank you so much B&B for promoting such great initiative. This is certainly one of those things that makes our community so special.

Well done B&B, thanks for putting this together.

I hope this years drive is the most successful one ever.

Oh no better start busting out the overtime! I got outbid on everything last year. But I guess that's a good thing as I helped drive th prices up

Can almost-new (used 2-3x, in original box) stuff be donated? How about restored brushes? Or are you guys looking for NIB or collectible for this?

No promises, but I'd like to donate...just not sure if I'll have my stuff together in 9 days.
