I bought a tube from Leon at Vintage Scent and it is in my rotation. It gives an excellent shave, much like Mussgo and La Toja but has a distinct scent. The price is excellent.

I've tried it and like it quite a bit. Of course it has lanolin in it so I had little doubt that it would give a great shave.

I knew you would have tried and liked it. In fact, I believe it was some of your posts on the Portuguese creams that started my SCAD.
If it's from Leon, it's worth a shot, those fella's know a good shave product!

The scent is oceanic/marine. I'll use it again next week to see if I can describe it any better. As I recall it performs more like Musgo than La Toja.

My work here is done. Perhaps if Leon sees this thread he'll let us know which of the other creams & soaps he sells have tallow and or lanolin.

Sorry for replying so late to this thread.
Lanolin is present in both «O Melhor» and «Veleiro» creams. Both are from the same company «Confiança».
I find that these two creams have partially similar scent, but the «O Melhor» is more musk while «Veleiro» is more marine, IMHO I prefer the «Veleiro» line, cream, after shave splash, balm and cologne as one of the manliest scents I've met.
Both give extraordinary cushion, feels like a pillow, I don't know if it's due to lanolin or not.
