I like the brush handle colors and style. Nylon, of course, needs to be replaced with a badger knot. If the handle is not cracked and is in as good of shape all around as the visible part, your $5+ price is a good price in my opinion.
I would have bought it for that price, as long as the postage wasn't too steep.
Postage was only about $3.00. I can't complain. It arrived today. Can't wait to try it out. I'll use it for about a month before I decide whether to leave it as nylon, or to replace the knot with a TGN finest/silvertip badger knot.
It's not going to be an easy decision to make. I've been wanting a nylon brush.
Then again, an old Ever Ready with a nice badger knot would be sweet, too.
After 1 shave I've decided that the Nylon knot has to go. It's way too soft and floppy to whip up a batch of lather. This one is going to get badger or boar.
