What's new

Note to self; If it works, DO IT!

Ok gentlemen, for the past three of four weeks, I've really discovered a system that flat out works for me. What I mean, specifically, when I say "works," I mean that I have almost completely eliminated all irritation that once resulted from my shaves, and dramatically improved the overall health of my skin.

So having thus discovered my own personal grail, via said method, what do I do? Well, thinking I could get away with diverging from this method simply because I felt great about the condition of my skin and thought I could get away with it, I broke the pattern.

For the sake of clarification, the part of my regimen that I broke from was shaving every day at relatively the same time.

I didn't shave for two days and when I finally did shave I not only had irritation (mild neck irritation) but I cut myself pretty bad too. (Which I hadn't done since discovering this regimen, so I chalk it up to that and not chance.)

Well:sneaky2: for me, I've discovered, either shave every day boy or grow a beard for a month. Its all about consistency for me fellas.

Have you guys run into anything like this?

The corollary to this is "If is isn't broken, don't fix it!" Changing routine introduces additional variables to compensate for in your shave. If I switch too many parameters, my shaving game becomes a little off.
