some info on this razor? I got it as a hand me down from my dad but cant find any info out on it.

Hone it and use it; most of the time you can't go wrong with a hand-me-down vintage heirloom. Edge looks healthy enough: no chips, no nicks, no rust. Looks like a hone-n-go to me.
What info is on the tang?
I dunno if it's just me, but I see a teeeny bit of a frown towards the middle, so I'd fix that, but otherwise, it looks really good.
Worked spine and bone scales. Nice razor. It would benefit from a good buff but get it honed and use it.
I noticed that too, but it may just be the lighting???

The tang says "Forged and Real" then below that it says "Hollow ground in Germany".

I'd clean it up and get it honed. What a great gift.
To me, it looks like the edge is straight, but the bevel goes up at that point. I don't think it's a frown.
Looks like a bit of a frown, if it is, should be easy to hone out though.

I got to looking at it and you are right lindyhop. The edge is straight but the bevel does go up a bit there for some reason.
