No Engraving On My EJ89L DE

Hi all. I recently purchased an Edwin Jagger 89L from Fendrihan online. It's a beauty with good heft and, as already reported on B&B it provides a real comfortable shave. The only disappointment was that the engraved EJ logo was MIA; there's smooth chrome on the handle where the logo should be. Has anyone else come across this?

Mine is engraved. That's weird
