I recently purchased a W&B FBU off of the BST, and I was wondering what is the significance of the arrow on the tang? I only ask this because mine doesn't have one. It cleaned up great, and honed up very well. I'm just curious.

No significance really, my guess is yours is just an older version of the FBU before they started stamping it that way.

OK, thanks. I used my google-fu (which isn't very strong), and didn't turn up much there either.... either way its a great shave and a lucky pick!
