Nice "new" NEW nets notably nick-free neck

My recently purchased Gillete NEW razor arrived yesterday and I used it for the first time this morning (it was all I could do to keep myself from shaving my already smooth face yesterday when it arrived).

Wow, what a difference for me. I was able to achieve BBS on my cheeks, but more significantly, there was absolutely no bleeding, even on my neck which is notoriously nick-prone. I attribute that to the fact that I can get a better angle with the NEW than I could with my Merkur Progress. I think it's because the head is a bit smaller/thinner and I was able to see the blade better.

I think I may have found my new go-to razor

I have the same setup and love it too! I also purchased a UK NEW and swap the heads on the Bull Mastiff with the US and UK NEW heads for a bit of a change.

Yeah, the handle on the original is tiny and I have rather large hands so I think a Bull Mastiff or one of Bob's other handles is going to be at the top of my Christmas list.

I have two (different) handles from Bob and they are both great! I love the heft.
