nice hot (warm) lather

Anybody try using a candle warmer or coffee mug warmer to keep your lather nice and warm? They're only a few bucks and thought I'd give it a try. Just wondered if anybody else has done this?

I've heard of some people using low temperature crockpots for keeping lather warm but never one of those cup warmers.

Picked up a candle warmer for $6 at Walgreens. Works like a charm. May actually pay for its self if it doesn't crap out. I should use less water this way and less gas to heat said water. Also cheaper than a scuttle. Just need to take care not to electrocute myself as my bathroom counter sometimes gets awful wet when shaving.

I use a hot water maker(for tea/coffee) set at one and enjoy a nice warm shave daily using it. Don't use it for anything else!:wink2:

I often use a kettle, warms up the bristles on the brush a treat and when the lather cools on my face all it takes is a quick dip of the tips into the mug of boiled water to warm the face lather up again.

I'm a fan of hot lather and that seems like a great idea. I currently use a Pyrex bowl that does a decent job of holding heat but I think a candle warmer would make it better.
