Nice Blade Bank Tin from Trader Joe's

The local Trader Joe's carries Dark Chocolate Nibs. The tin in the picture is 3 3/16" by 1 3/16" by 7/8" (or so).

I just got a sampler pack from West Coast Shaving, and went looking around for a blade bank when I noticed some of the blades just came in plain cardboard boxes. This is what was around my house, and it should be just big enough for the blades from the sampler pack.

Anyway, they're a $1.99 at TJ's, and the chocolate is quite good. I've also got 5 more, which I'd be willing to PIF to anyone who really wants one (I don't know how worthwhile this is, but I'm game). I'll probably switch to a soup can if it turns out I need a blade bank later (for the better capacity).

I just use a water bottle. It's transparent so you can see the contents, and the mouth is narrow enough that you have to bend the blade to get it in, and they won't/can't shake out.

Oh, good, now I have an "excuse" to go to TJ's! :001_rolle :w00t:

The only problem with this choice is that you realize, one day, ten years from now when you've long forgotten about it, you're going to be looking for a snack, see that little tin stuck on a shelf, and think, "Hmmm, some yummy chocolate nibs," stick your finger in the tin without looking and YOWSA!!!!!!!
