Looking for something to replace my VDH Boar. Soaps and creams, bowl and possible face lathering. A good all around brush! 22mm-24mm knot with a 48mm-50mm loft? Ive looked at some Penworks, Semogue and Vulfix. Budget under $50.00... Thanks B&B...

Does anyone have an opinion on those Penworks? How are the Knots? Quality?
My penworks silvertip badger was great, but I'm over it. I'm a face lathering boar man now
I (among many others) would recommend either a 620, 830, or 1470 by Semogue. They can be found at www.Vintagescent.com

Im actually thinking of buying a Badger and a Boar brush...
Excellent quality knots. Super soft on the face, and firm enough to use on any soap.
