What's new

New stock at the local phamacy

Went to the local Pharmasave (Mill Bay, BC, Canada), while I was there I thought I would see if there were any new shaving products. Among all the shaving goops & night repair creams there was plenty of Williams soap. These were also there.

Im fairly sure these are all new products. Im not too interested in the shaving creams, but its nice that they have soap other than Williams. Im very interested in trying the Nomad shaving soap. Ive reab good things about it. Ill have to buy another mug I guess...

The Neutrogena creams have been around for years and are all brushless. Don't waste your time. The C&E and Nivea, however, are decent products.

I still cannot explain why Nivea distributes their decent and inexpensive shaving cream for use with a brush in Canada, but not the USA. I live in midtown Manhattan, and the only place I know that carries it is Pasteur Pharmacy for $10!

Damn you Canada and your cheap, easy to find shaving creams!:001_tongu

Dont understand why you cant get it in the US. They are a German company but have been there for years.

That's neat find, knotty! I've never seen one sold in my local Pharmasave. The Nomad puck should fit exactly into an empty bowl from Wilkinson sward blue, so you don't have to spend money on that.
Could you please take a picture of the back side with the ingredients!
Could you please tell for how much they sell it for!

Good idea with using the Wilkinson tub. Ill have to fish it out garbage.
Ill try to get a pic of the back side. The price is $8.99.

For some inexplicable reason, the Nivea shaving cream is distributed by Nivea to every nook and cranny on earth, except the United States. It's not listed on the USA specific version of the Nivea Men's website. I even once emailed Nivea to request the cream in the USA, and all I received is a polite form letter apologizing for the fact that it was not available. I assume that Nivea must believe the cream would not sell in the USA as we Americans are both enamored with their gels and foams and far too lazy to use a brush.

At least their Sensitive Aftershave Balm is good and available in the USA . . .

If you cant read it, let me know.

Nice find, haven't tried the Nomad, but heard good things about it. We've been traveling around the country out west and only found Williams in one small town Pharmacy. Some have DE blades, but according to my son they aren't very good.

Bout all I can usually get locally is Wilkinson or Williams, so Nomad & Nivea are are nice to see. Maybe theres hope...

Ive heard good things bout the Nomads too. Im gunna pick it up, the next time I go shopping.
The local WallyMart doesnt have blades, but they say lots of Williams. Go figger

Ingredients list starts with Potassium Palmate! This is the old formulation - the good one! :w00t:
Same applies to Sienna puck, if you ever come across to it.

Neat find, very good soap - way, way, way better than the Wilkinson sword you were using.
The price is right too.
Enjoy!
