I wanted to let ya'll know that I am now serving as a Steward here on the Shaving Cream Forum. You've probably seen other posts from some of the other Stewards - each Forum now has a Steward - and since I'm a day or two late coming to the "party", you probably already realize I'm not here to serve drinks, although I wouldn't mind doing that if we could work out the logistics...
The idea of Stewards came about as a result of the B&B Admins and Mods addressing the fact that B&B participation has grown tremendously over the past year or two, and they want us to join them in helping find ways to enhance and improve each of the Forums. The Mods will still be here as always. I agreed to serve because I have enjoyed tremendously the time I spend on B&B, and I agree that if you aren't continually trying to improve, you'll slide backwards.
As a Steward, I am not the "resident expert", nor do I have any authority. I'll just be spending a little more time here with the idea that while I'm participating, I'll also be looking for and thinking about ways to make things even better, maybe some contests, some special topics, etc. And of course, your ideas are always welcome!
