New Mike's Favorite

I just returned from Chicago. I introduced a friend to Mike's bath soap. She in turn wants to gift a pal with Mike's shave soap and asked me which was the most "manly." I dithered and didn't have one right soap...I love the Bay Rum, and Lime, and my favorite was Barbershop.

Howsomeever, notice I said "was." I just returned and waiting for me was a tin of Mike's Pine & Cedarwood. WOW! This is an incredible frangrance and, at least up until now, unique. I love it.

The "and cedarwood" scares me... I bought a handful of tins from Mike's recently... and the only one I can't bring myself to actually use is my "Rose and Cedarwood". The cedar smell is just too overbearing for me. I was hoping for a more traditional rose scent.

I ordered samples of Mikes and among them will be a sample of Pine and Cedarwood. Really looking forward to it. I can't imagine a much more manly scent than pine and cedar.

Yeah I am hoping that after the excellent performance but powdery smell of MWF, Mikes will have the performance and manly smell to rival it!

I opened my Pine and Cedar sample and pressed it into an Anchor bowl. Will try it out tomorrow. The scent just jumps out at you on this one.

Ditto. Not my favorite - I feel like I smell like tree sap

I should have some of the orange/clove/cinnamon on the way one of these days. I haven't used a bar soap since well... I'm not sure when I ever used a bar soap. I know I did a few times in my life... I think? Anyway I'm excited about the order and getting to try many more soaps.

I don't have any shaving bars, I buy the tins, but here is a photo of one bath soap and the shampoo bar. So I suspect the shave soap would be similarly packaged.
