007 is the consummate gentleman. elegant, refined, gets more tail than a new york taxi and can kick some serious butt when needed even while wearing a tux and having a martini in hand.
for the record, Sean Connery is still James Bond, though the others have all performed admirably, even George Lazenby, I have liked the recent actors as Bond, Brosnan and Craig have portrayed distinctly different Bond characters but both have still remained quintessential Bond.
It may throw the Bond universe into a crazy spiral. But I would love to see Mr. Connery pull a cameo one of these days. I think Daniel Craig deserves a nod. Just like the new Batman, I think they finally got it right.
I caught that too. I think that Daniel Craig's reformulated Bond is one of the few new products that works as well as the vintage version, regardless of how many ingredients got changed. Heck, it's been tallow-free since Roger Moore retired.

that would be crazy cool to have connery pull a role as a Bond villain. however, I've read that connery is 100% retired not just from bond but from acting altogether. it would be tough to coax him out to do it, though it would be epic if he did.
