New Deluxe Acquisition and Question

Just got in this New Deluxe. I am very happy with it and look forward to giving it a try (with my CCB handle). I like the performance on the other New razors I've tried.

The case and blade holder are chrome which makes me think they are not original even though they seem to be appropriate for the razor otherwise. Any chance that a gold razor would come with a chrome case? If not I'll probably BST the case. What would a fair price be, maybe $15? Thanks

Nice razor. I agree that the case and blade case are probably from a different set, perhaps the Tuckaway with a New Improved razor.

If the case don´t say "Tuckaway" it´s a NEW Norfolk DeLuxe case. I don´t know whether it comes as gold version too, or your razor is from a NEW Lady Gillette:

Thanks much all. Unlike the pic there is no serial number on the head on my razor but otherwise it is just like the gold lady razor.
