New Brush Confusion!! Arrrggghhh!

That's right folks, confusion reigns right now. I'm in the market for a new brush but cannot figure out where to go to get the "ONE". I have been reading reviews, visiting websites and generally getting overloaded. So I thought I would ask for some real world input.

What I think I'm looking for is a silvertip (or equivilant) brush with a knot of 20-22mm, loft of 48-55mm and a handle size of 50-55mm. I would like something not as dense as a Rooney but not as floppy as a Vulfix. I use soaps/cream equally and face lather only.

Any input will be appreciated. Thanks in advance and enjoy your shaves.

Go for Edwin Jagger. They are all excellent brushes with pretty good price for silver tip

There likely isn't ONE!

However, my first real brush was a Savile Row from QED. Nice backbone, good with soaps and creams. Modest price.
