New brush advice

Now that I have gotten better at lather making with my Co Conk and MamaBear soaps, BAD has set in. Currently, I am using a Vulvix 660 pure from Lee's. It is sufficient for my lather making, but it is a bit scratchy on my face. I am a bowl latherer and I just placed my order for DB 1.5 scuttle. Would you please help me decide on the following brushes that have caught my eye (or another suggestion):
*Rooney 1/1 Super Silvertip
*Rooney 3/1 Super Silvertip
*Simpson Duke 2 Best
*Shavemac 21mm Best from WCS.

Yes, the Heritage is a bit out of my range! It looks like I am getting a lot of recommendations for the Rooney's.

ambrose is rolling his eye's because he is an avid Rooney lover and makes no bones about it.

i think you're going to be hard pressed to find a better brush with your specs than a Rooney Super for $75 bucks.

For bowl latherering and good flowthrough get the Shavemac 21mm.The loft is ~50-52mm. happy shopping
