My first travel case. I fab'd a latch for added secured closure, and hidden storage for 1 blade (possibly more after some more work), under lid. Additional materials: dense packing foam that came with curtain rod packing, thin cardboard for underside of lid (trimmed out thin recess for blade storage, and cotton fabric.
First, I drilled the holes for the latch.
After cutting to fit case, I carved the foam so the components sat recessed in.
wrapped in fabric.
Then wrapped the thin cardboard~ still need to add a small pull tab for easier removal.
