Needed- strong long lasting anti persp and soaps

I need the strongest anti persp out there! My son is 13 and has tried everything from clinical gillette to Mitchum... Any suggestions for anti persp that will last thru out the day?

how about soaps too?
This is our last step before we go to a doctor!

Has he tried Milk of Magnesia? I realize it sounds strange, but I started looking for something a while back when I decided to see if I could find a product that would give me the benefits of an antiperspirant without the draw backs (stains, residue, etc) It is cheap, so no harm in trying, get the unflavored or original kind. Take about a nickel sized amount and apply it to each armpit. You have to let it completely dry before putting on a shirt, otherwise things get messy. I use a hair dryer to help speed the dry time. It has been working pretty well, my only complaint is that I still sweat, and on hot days, my button downs can get unsightly in the pit region, however there is zero odor and zero residue, no problems washing the shirts. I have been trying different powders to see if that might help with the sweat issue, but haven't had much luck. Might be worth a shot for you.

Might try seeing a dermatologist or at least get some Rx antiperpirant/deodorant.

As for soap, gillette's all day clean body wash seems to work well for me. My lady also got me hooked on "Dirty" body wash by Lush. It's a girly store but that stuff is made for dudes. Smells awesome too.

I use Tom's of Maine. I always needed to use Old Spice Red Zone and a gentleman at a music festival recommended ToM. Pick up one and try it out. I like apricot sent the best, but I find unscented to be the most common. It does a pretty good job of reducing sweat. I believe it does so by more of blocking the pores rather than any chemicals. Before using it I would commonly sweat through my both my shirt and under shirt (with OS Red Zone). It took a few days before it kicked in, but after that period it is all that I use. I cannot recall sweating my pits out since using it, with the exception of dancing and working out. Good luck!

+1 for Tom's of Maine. I've found Speick deodorant to work really well and lasts. I perspire heavily and it's what I've found is the best. It has a strong smell though. My wife says I smell like a forest when I put it on.

I use an alum deodorant in the cooler months, but (for me) it doesn't hold up in the summer. I have never had Old Spice Pure Sport anti-perspirant gel fail on me.

If he has an excessive sweating problem, either certain-dry roll on (Walmart) or MAXIM (www.stopsweat.com) work good. Maxim works much better, BUT it cost 3x more. I use certain-dry now, and apply it every night. $6 bottle last me 3 months.

Then top that with whatever he wants to smell like in PLAIN deodorant.

Anti-perspirant/deodorant never worked well for me. Smell does not hold up and they don't keep my pits dry. The above combo works very well.
