Need some help identifying this Gillette

Picked this up for $10 at a local flea market today. Not a bad find considering what travel cases go for these days. The razor is labeled Gillette England on the bottom and has U2 date code. The handle seems to be made of plastic and it has a regular TTO top. The ring on the top of the handle actuates the TTO top. This is something I have never seen. The blades are of an unknown make and are an advertisement for Old Hickory Bourbon, printed on the box, blade paper covers, and the blades them selves. The case is "Real Leather Made In England". There is a third loop on the side that I assume held a small tooth brush or something. Does any one have any more info on this travel set. The mirror is a regular one and a magnification style on the back side.

I believe that's a Knack, produced from the late sixties to mid seventies. They have good reviews on performance here. I don't know much more about them, I only discovered one earlier today while trying to identify my newest acquisition.

Yip that's a knack, I have one and like it, having a very light handle it is very top heavy,
But that ends up helping you use less pressure.
Great razor and find.

the first de razor i used when i got back into de shaving was a personna version of that razor, the reason being that i found it in my fathers house, it is a bit head heavy, the first few shaves were not good, that was more down to not using good soap and brush, after reading some of the stuff on here and getting a good brush and soaps/creams and better prep, it is not a bad shaver.$Picture 016.jpg$Picture 017.jpg
