Need some help identifying some Gillettes

From what I read on Mr. Razor I think they are 1940's ball end techs but I can't seem to find a straight answer online, I figured this is the best place to ask. Both are Gillette, both have the exact same ball end handle, both are made in USA, neither have date codes, and both are 3 pieces. The only difference between them is that one is gold and worn with no Gillette on top, and the other is silver with the Gillette stamp on top and looks unused. Sorry about the links, all the images were too large to upload.

You've gotten them about as close as you'll be able to. They're both ball-end Techs from before date coding started (in 1951), and the oblong gutter slots would put them after WWII -- so roughly 1946-1950.

Incidentally, if you pull the images from a remote URL the site should resize them down for you:

Ahh thank you for the good info, razors and posts. I was trying to upload straight from my computer and it gave me a hard time so I just linked them from my photobucket.
