What's new

Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!

Or Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Welsh, my country's old language.

Just like to say thanks for the advice and companionship over the time I've been here. I didn't really need the money I spent on soaps, creams, razors, blades, straights, colognes...

Dia dhuit. I recognised it as some type of Gaelic but had a small guess it was Welsh from your other posts. I am very seriously looking at the Pimsleur audio tapes and cds for learning the Irish. A very merry Christmas to you sir and God bless us everyone.

Regards, Todd

You do need a lot of phlegm to speak Welsh, the English tell me.

Have you got the Doctor Who spinoff yet, Torchwood? That's Cardiff, my home town. Some rare accents on there.
