Mystery brush

Hey all, so I found this brush at a local antique store the other day and decided to pick it up. There's no maker insignia on it and I don't even know what the knot is made of... boar perhaps? (I've only owned a couple badger brushes, so I've never actually used a boar)

Any help would be appreciated. I'm considering one day re-knotting it with something badger. What do you think?

EverReady, boar. I believe that model is called a 150 or C150 or something like that. Probably the most common vintage shaving brush you're ever gonna find. Perfectly good little brush, but not a collectors item or high end. I believe it's a decently thick, but hollow plastic in 2 parts glued together.

Recently some manufacturer started knocking this brush off (probably got a hold of the molds cheaply or something). I forget the name of the manufacturer, but they sell them for about $10. I came across a few vendors when I was just starting to make my own brushes and wanted cheap handles to stick TGN knots in. I suspect your brush may be one of these (as EverReady's usually were labeled).
