I got it with a mug that I wanted and I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it.
It said Made In West Germany on the bottom, part of it came off during some cleaning. It had what i would call a badger smell.

I don't have any background information on it. I wish I did.

I do think that it would be a good restoration candidate.

I believe I will try to get the haze off of whatever the coating is on the wood or just strip it down. The knot seems to be in good condition so I may leave it alone for a while but that probably wont last. It most likely will be my first brush restoration. Ive been getting more interested in making my own brush day by day though. So we shall see.
