Myrsol Emulsion

I've become interested in trying the Myrsol Emulsion Pre/Aftershave, but there appear to be few reviews that talk about it in depth. I was wondering if anyone here could give me some info, particularly on how it works as a pre-shave, although I'm certainly interested in its post shave abilities as well. Thanks.

As a preshave, it is as effective as any other preshave product that I have tried. I do not use preshaves in general.... but I have probably used this product as a preshave more than any other product including preshave oils by TOBS and T&H, as well as Floid Sandolor Preshave. It is runny in consistency.... somewhere between a balm and a milk I would say. Similar to Musgo Real AS Balsam or Proraso Liquid Cream or Nivea AS Balm. It contains lanolin and menthol, so it is both moisturizing and cooling. It can dry a little tacky if applied too heavily. It has a nice scent that is somewhat herbal/medicinal. I don't have the ingredient list in front of me.... but the list is small as are all of the Myrsol products. Basic and simple. I enjoy it and consider it an above average product.

Myrsol emulsion is a great product. I don't use pre-shave products, because I've never found that they improve my routine, which includes warm/hot compresses, etc. Utilizing this as an aftershave, as mentioned, is an above average product. A little goes a long way, and it is not greasy whatsoever. I live in Houston, and it already plenty warm here. I use it here in the heat to full satisfaction.

Don't improve my routine, sorry!
