MyPressi Twist?

I just saw something called a MyPressi Twist in the Week magazine's 'Sophisticated Stocking Stuffers'. Am I the only one that thinks $169 is a bit much for a hand-held espresso maker? Or is it one of those things that once you try it, you see it's worth it?

If you must have the real deal in a portable package, there is no better solution.

It's worth the money if you are willing to pay it for having the option of a portable espresso solution. (that isn't just an attempt to resemble espresso without actually being espresso)

... that actually looks pretty neat to me. Seems like it would be good not only for travel, but for home use? Are there many home espresso makers that come at or below this price? I've not looked around at espresso makers myself, but the few I've come across seem like they're a lot more expensive than this.

I guess the one big issue with having this as your only method would be having to blow through all those canisers of compressed air (nitrogen?)

How does this compare to the new Handpresso that uses ground coffee? The shot in the video did not look all that great, seemed to blonde pretty fast, produced loads of crema but I wonder if the gas cartridge didn't contribute in some way.

Both use ground coffee.

I like the Handpresso too. Without having used both side-by-side, I'm not sure which comes closer to 9bar of brew pressure, but I'm inclined to think that the cartridge can do it better than a hand-pump.
