My Pops Strops. Can You Guys Help Me With Info on Them?

Hi guys,

My Pop passed away this month, and I just got back from my home town with the funeral and helping my grandma. My Pop was a knife guy, as well as other related hobbies; hunting, shooting etc. In cleaning out a few things I found some of the strops he had. As I am not at all educated or into such things, I thought I'd post these here, and maybe some of you guys who are can tell me some interesting things about them. They are both two parts, with a leather part and a cloth part. The condition is pretty good far as I know. Anything you can share would be great!

I'm going to post the pics all at the end since I cant figure how to do it differently.

The first is both side by side.
The next will be the only identifying stamp on the right strop.
The next will be whats stamped on the top of the left.
The last will be the emblems and such on the end of the left strop.

Can't wait to see what you fellas know! Thanks!

I have an Illinois 827 "Imperial Russia" and think its a wonderful strop. I use my TM and Kanayama Strops mostly for my half/full hollows, and my Illlinois for my wedges as the draw is slightly higher. IMO it's a great all-around strop; you should be happy with it! :thumbup1:
