What's new

My new toy - Vintage Kaweco

Bought in the late seventies/early eighties by my uncle, who left it at his parents' place when he married together with lots of other quality (or not) pens, together with a broken aerometric Parker (same design than the 51, but made of plastic instead of resin) and a concklin with no sac (which I will send for repair once I have some cash again, as I was told it would cost around 40 euros).
I don't know much about this pen, except that it had a broken feed and, now that it's been changed it writes like a wonder and that the pen-shop owner told me "If you ever loose this pen, I will scold the crap out of you myself".

Very nice. I too greatly enjoy writing with my vintage pens though I don't have a Kaweco,,,,,,,yet.

Great score, such a nice new toy! Is the nib 14K gold? I have a smaller Kaweco DIA from the 30s but the nib is not original.

Enjoy your pen and welcome to the Nib!
