My GEM Minute Man set

My mother bought this little Gem "Minute Man" set for me 10+ years ago, To my knowledge, it has never been used. The head is/was still wrapped in the original tissue paper, all of the paperwork is intact, along with the screw/envelope.

We generally don't do valuations here (check those pesky Terms of Use you just agreed to).

No problem, and I definitely wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers. :) I'll go ahead and edit my original post.

Edit: Lol, Jim beat me to it. I appreciate it, Jim.

Nice deal, I have looked at those, as we had one way back, never pulled the triger.

Good find, welcome to B&B

Thanks guys. It's a really cool little set. I'm more of a DE guy, so it's just been sitting under the sink since I received it.

Maybe I ought to pick up some blades and give it a try. It might turn me into an SE fan. :)

That's very good advice that you just gave yourself! SE razors are AT LEAST as good as any DE out there. A fairly good agrument could be made for their superiority as well. You owe it to yourself to find out if SE shaving is for you.

However, the set that you have there is in such pristine condition that, for a collector, it's desireable because of it's virginity. Think about picking up a user-grade SE and giving it a try to see if SE shaving is for you without affecting the collectivity of that set. If you fall in love with SE shaving, then you can decide whether it's worth more to you to use that set on its maiden shave or to keep, sell, or trade it. (Or not. It's your razor, and your choice...)
