My futur is brighter

Bought a matte finish futur today and ran home to shave with it. I used the merkur blade that came with it and set the razor to 2. With a 2 pass shave (wtg, xtg), had my best shave ever. No irritation and super close DFS.

Have been using a EJ DE89L and it is a great razor but have never gotten this close of a shave without irritation, especially around my lower neck. I really like the feedback I get from the futur and maintaining the proper angle with this razor was easy. Really like the bigger size and extra weight.

And your shaves are sure to improve even more as you get used to the Futur's weight and balance, to say nothing of its adjustability. Good move on your part.
