my girl works at walgreens so i told her to pick these up for me as well....funny thing is she said she had them behind her counter and her coworker says to her, "i thought those were for old men!"

You've done WELL! I don't own Clubman as I have in my rotation Canoe and Brut (all three are quite similar). The Bay Rum is awesome!
If you're looking for another, Vanilla or the Eau de Portugal (says hair tonic, but everybody uses it as aftershave) are both great.
And, of course, the famous Lilac Vegetal.

Both great scents! If you can find it the Special Reserve is also GREAT!!

Many of the Super Bed, Bath & Beyond stores have Lilac Vegetal as well as the regular Clubman. You have made two purchases I'm sure you will enjoy with the Bay Rum and Clubman.
Lilac Vegetal is one controversial product--there doesn't seem to be a "middle ground" with it...Many hate it, and many revere it for its history as well as its extremely old school scent. It's a scent time machine--one worth exploring if you enjoy the other Pinaud scents you have purchased.
If you buy LV decant it into a glass container as soon as you can...It doesn't keep well in the plastic bottle--but is great when it gets into glass...

Do the Clubman and Bay Rum keep well in plastic?
I have had no problems at all with regular Clubman and the Bay Rum in the plastic bottles. Mine are probably 1 and 1/2 yrs. old and they are still like when I bought them...Smell fine. I wouldn't worry about these two.
The LV can get "skunky" in a plastic bottle. But as soon as it gets in glass that smell is gone. It's just my opinion, but to really be able to appreciate LV it needs to be decanted in glass.
It's an unusual a/s for sure--but one I'm glad to have tried. I use it occasionally and enjoy it a lot.

How does the special reserve compare to the regular clubman?
Wearing it right now. I prefer the regular scent. It seems weaker than the regular, but still has a great scent. It's my second favorite Pinaud. Bay Rum is a close 3rd and sometimes I just want to smell like cinnamon...kind of like having a craving for cookies I suppose.
The regular Clubman is a staple in my shave den. I also have the Bay Rum, I only use it once in a while. Be warned, if you have had a rough shave I would pass on the Bay Rum unless you want your face to feel like its on fire!
It's sort of odd, as time goes on I am enjoying the Veg more and more, and the Clubman less and less. I wonder why.

of all places i found 90% of the clubman aftershave line at some beauty store in elizabeth NJ. and if you want a visual image of what it look like image corey from boy meets world walking into the barber shop from the movie barber shop. awesome now place that entire scene about 2 minutes from the 'hood.
