I've been wanting one for a while now and when I saw this one on ebay from my birth year I had to have it, 1971 Prince. Got it for half of what a new one would cost. Showed up today and really made my week.

Concrats with the pipe. Ive been looking for a birth year as well. I saw one for $800 or something really obscene and didn't get it.

Yes, a very nice pipe. I have an Astley very similar (apparently made by Dunhill). That vendor is great also, I have bought a few pipes from him. (He always uses the same tobacco tin thats how I know who he is!)

So far, it's the easiest pipe I've ever smoked. Kind of odd getting used to how small the pipe is. So far I love it

I too have a couple Prince/Apple pipes. They are really my favorite smokers. Never had any problems with them and would recommend them to start out with people just getting into taking up pipe smoking.
