My first "bad" razor, Erbe TTO

I was traveling in Europe this summer and came across a Muller store that stocked a few DE razors. I decided to try a TTO razor made by a German company that I had never heard of, Erbe. The razor cost 46 Euro and looked decently made. All I can say is that after using it a few times, I have a very hard time believing the razor is German made. The sensation I had while shaving was like shaving with broken glass. I have gone through probably a dozen razors and currently prefer my 34c. Although I have bought and sold many razors over the last year, I can honestly say that none of them were "bad", I just found things I didn't like about them and manufactured reason to try other models (RAD). The Erbe razor however, is the first razor I've owned that I feel is genuinely a bad razor and should be avoided. Real disappointment, so much so that I trashed it instead of selling or giving I away. The $50 spent was worth the newfound appreciation I have for all the wonderful razors on the market these days. Glade that 99% of razors aren't junk and don't feel like shaving with shards of glass.

Thanks for the warning! I've heard Erbe is a re-branded Parker (India)
You're sure it wasn't just some crummy blade? @RazorTom

You're welcome! Yes, I'm sure, I tried 3 different blades that work just fine with my other razors.
It may very well be a rebranded Parker as it quite resembles the Parker 99R.

I believe the Parker TTOs share the same head. If this is a rebranded Parker, it might be you don't get along with that design (assuming the head isn't misaligned or something).

I have a Parker TTO (the 87R), and find it works quite well when used with a light touch.
