I installed a cabinet in my bathroom. I keep pretty much all of my shaving gear in there. Sadly enough, there's barely enough room in that cabinet. Anyway, I noticed it gets a lot of moisture inside.

I am thinking I'm not going to keep my straights in here any more. I keep them in there in their coffin.

What about my DE's? Will they rust?

I used to keep my cartridge razors in the bathroom cabinet and being a bit lazy, used to drop off the used cartridges into the cabinet and load a new one, and eventually clear out the used carts once a month or so. I noticed that every one of them started rusting after two weeks, so I'm guessing that permanently storing your razors inside will have an adverse effect. Now that I have shiny new DE gear, I've taken all my stuff out and stored them in a cupboard outside the bathroom!

The DEs shouldnt rust, but the straights will.
