My Collection - Updated

This is the first thread I did some while ago. The collection has moved on a little since then.

I've now got myself a nice display cabinet to keep it all in and on.

The brush on the left has a solid ivory handle.

It's nice to have a cigar whilst contemplating how I'm going to explain another 20 parcels arriving in the post this week to the wife which ironically includes a new bigger humidor with cigars.

I feel extremely fortunate to have managed to find three Double Rings.

You will need more shelves soon...

I'd be interested in the straight razor restoration box... If you don't want it...

Incredible!
I'm trying to decide if showing this to my wife will comfort her over my modest kit, or if it will scare the hell out of her with a vision of the future.

Sensational John.

Nice to see this stuff being appreciated and looked after.

Does make me think how are we all going to make sure it is looked after once we shuffle off (not that I'm planning to soon nor wish it on you!)

So if we solve for nCR, the total number of possible shaving combinations using items in your collection, where nCr = ( (n + r - 1 ) ! ) / ( r ! ( n - 1 ) ! ), it appears that you've got over 126,000 different shaves ahead of you.
... Though admittedly, I'm not confident I've assigned the correct variable for the cigars.

I applaud your effort...and discernment.... fantastic collection. It is indeed inspiring.

Impressive! :thumbup1: How long have you been collecting?

I've only been collecting about 10 months. I do spend an extra ordinary amount of hours trawling through eBay and other shaving forums for items I'm after.

And thank you all for the kind words. It is a work in progress but it's starting to look pretty good. I've still got alot of gaps that I need to fill though so I'm still keen to continue collecting.
