I was thinking how awesome it was to shave with a straight razor, while shaving.

Yes and with out the focus gave myself a nice smile on my cheek.
Oouuuchhh. Goes to show that "thinking" can be hazardous to one's health too 
..
Straights are great, but man do you have to keep your focus, but I guess you've already learned that.
