Must have a tough beard!

I used a Super-Iridium for the last few days, first day was like a hot knife through butter. Second day a little rougher but still smooth. Today i think someone froze the butter because the knife(blade) she not so hot!

Anyone else find that these have a short shave life or is it me?

I was just getting ready to post something similar. The third shave really seams to be rough as compared to the first and second. And this is true for two brands of blades for me.

I found the first and second shaves with an Astra SP blade to be really comfortable. The third was difficult. The fourth was almost incomplete.

At $10 for 100 blades, I'll use it once and toss it, however. I'm ok with that if that's the best I can get. I'm considering giving the feathers a shot to see how those go, but the Astra, being a mild, comfortable and close shave one the first shave was a ***** on the third (in comparison). Ip it was more so with the Israeli Personnas.

i can only use VERY few blades for even 3 good shaves, my hairs are so thick and hard to cut they destroy most blades. for me i only get one really nice shave from a feather then thats pretty much all. which is why i dont buy them, i get 2-3 from si's though which is one of the best. believe it or not the voskhod with it not being nearly as sharp gives me a good 3 shaves.
