Music to the shave

Much of the quality of shaving classic comes from how it feels (when you do it right) and the great smells. Recently started also adding sounds to the pleasant shavenchilada, making a good thing better always a good thing. Funny thing is I like to listen to music shaving I am not that much into usual, Jazz or Rap. So now one of the decision I make before showing is, turn on the radio station that sends wall to wall jazz or the one with rap? So turning into serious shaving now also expanding my taste in music! If this get any better I have to insist on paying more tax.

Oh, I guess somewhere here there is a monster thread titled 'what music do you listen to when shaving?', as newbie I just did not know :)

American classics go really well with shaving. Listen to some Sinatra when you lather up and you'll feel like a million bucks :001_cool:

The song from the blade is normally enough. Don't think my neighvours would like that I play music somewhere around 3 AM )

I normally only listen to the song the blade cutting while shaving. The loud metal that I normal listen to doesn't necessarily go with a nice smooth DE shave. Sinatra, Marty Robbins, or some classical masterpieces might make the experience better though.

If I listen to any music while shaving (other than the soothing scritching sound I hear when my angle is right and the whiskers are being cut well), I listen to the '40s station on AOL Radio on my iPhone.

Good point about importance of music must not interrupt the sound of the blade! And rat pack music, yea that sounds just about right, particular using my vintage DE!

I use Pandora and my shave channels are Herb Alpert, Astrud Gilberto, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Great shave music.

I am with those who like to listen to the symphony of the blade as it does its work on my beard.

Regards,

Doug

+5 for Blade Symphony!:straight:

Ah, we are all into music then even if we are happy making it our self with our sharp instrument :) Thanks for links folks.

On occasion all throw on some big band or classical. Both really take the experience up a notch for some reason.

XM Radio 82 - Radio Classics is my fave while shaving. Old time radio shows from the 30's and 40's. You hear the occasional shaving related commercial even.
