Musgo Real or Proraso?

I just finished my first bottle of Proraso balm and debating whether or not I should keep using Proraso or giving Musgo Real balm or splash a shot. Both seem to get great reviews and are very respected. Proraso balm worked wonderfully and really have no complaints with its performance, but I guess part of me wants to try something new (part of me also says why fix it if it's not broken) Which should I go with? Continue using Proraso balm or give Musgo Real a shot? Thanks for the suggestions.

They are very different. I prefer Proraso. Proraso is light, fresh, minty scent and Musgo has a heavier scent - complex, licorice or patchouli or something like that.

The Musgo balm is perhaps just a bit better than the Proraso, but their splash is much better. It's one of the best products made.

Both splashes are good, but one thing of note: The proraso splash leaves a clean feel while the Musgo leaves a little bit of a tacky feel because of the included glycerin in the splash.

But scent-wise, I prefer the Musgo splash.

two of my absolute favorites.

both shave creams are awesome -- so far, best i've ever used, cream or soap.

the a/s and asb's are great also, and very different from one another.

proraso is to me menthol with a hint of citrus, with a light, clean, refreshing feel. while i consider proraso superior, a similar result can be had by using aqua velva a/s and nivea "ice balm" asb for about 1/4 the price.

musgo is an orange/citrus scent, and the a/s has the most soothing feel of any that i have tried. it does dry kind of tacky, but i don't consider that a problem. the asb is similar but to me not as soothing despite its thicker consistency.

i can highly recommend both.
