Tell us what's on the lid and what's on the label. A pic would be helpful.

there is no lid it came wrapped in plastic, however now that i think about it i do think it said sandalwood (i'm not sure but i think it did) oh btw, how is muhle pronounced?

Sandalwood sounds right.

I know they have Sandalwood, Aloe, Sea Buckthorn, Marigold and Ocean algae. Sandalwood is pretty good.

The fragrances of some of the soaps they make and even the look of the pucks are very similar to the Edwin Jagger branded soaps. Are they one and the same? I notice the Edwin Jagger soaps don't say "Made in England" on the packs. Instead, they same "Made in the EU", which could be their cover for making them in Germany. Awesome soaps nonetheless.

Recent Muehle production is only Sandalwood, Aloe Vera and Sea Buckthorn.

I wasn't sure if they still made the last 2 but I knew they existed not too long ago... Unless Australia has been selling NOS soaps!

Sure, they existed but have been pulled put. I guess these three cover a nice range. I liked Aloe and Sandalwood from day one but wasn't big fan of Sea Buckthorn initially. However, it has started getting under my skin big time both for the smell and for lather. As the summer heats keep progressing, I can see Sea Buckthorn becoming my favorite. :biggrin1:

Sea Buckthorn is my favorite! Even if it has dead sea monster in the ingredients, it smells good!

The older soaps were made by Haslinger and if I remember just wrapped with a printed label attached, the new E&J/Mühle have so far been packaged in 2 different boxes for the soap without the travel container, and one design so far for the travel container.

Sea Buckthorn was my first shave cream, I ordered it with the first razor I bought (also a Muhle, the R106).

Very intriguing scent, and a great cream.
Especially in summer, as a welcome fresh scent that is not citrussy or mentholish.
