Well cool though. On the forum I moderate, with close to 200,000 members, there was a thread to try to get the most users online. We had a count down for it and everything, but it was a bad attempt to set the record, and failed. Hahah.

Congrats, B&B. Our community is truly growing. I'd like to think, however, that the spike in users was directly attributable to my cute kitty cat pics that I have been posting with such fervor recently.

Hopefully the server took a snapshot of all the user that were online, so the "most users online ever" door prizes can be sent the correct recipients

Not to throw cold water on everyone, but, typically, these types of "records" on phpbb software come from crawling bots indexing the site (i.e. google, yahoo, etc.).
