I just want to give a short testimonial to how great the members are here at B&B. I'm still new to wet shaving (using DE, soaps, and brushes) and folks here have been very helpful with their advice and recommendations. rickboone1 organized a local Southeast meet up and did a wonderful job. He asked some vendors for door prized, which they graciously donated, and put together a great demo. The folks who attended were probably the most friendliest and good natured group I've ever come across and were willingly sharing what they know with others they've never met before. At the end of the meet up, Rick gave me one of his straight razors so I can play/practice with it. Then, today I get an envelop from Shave_Rat with some feather, voskhod, and personna blades to try in my razors because he saw on one of my threads that I was having problems with the blades I was using.
The folks here are truly amazing and I'm glad to be a member of B&B. Hopefully, some day when I'm experienced enough, I can do the same and help someone new to wet shaving as well.
