Is the magnet strong enough not to slip when stropping? That is the only concern about it. i don't want any movement when stropping

No slippage at all. Definitely not something to worry about.

I used a product like this for a while (not the one reviewed above). There was never any slippage, however there was a tendency for the pads to lift up a little around the edges. Not all the pads. Just some of the less flexible ones. They were stiff enough that when they curled a little the magnet couldn't hold down the edges.

I have not seen this on the SRD version, and I had a chance to try all the pads (that I know of), and well used pads at that.
